I was traveling on business and was in the area so I decided to make a stop at Bogarts. I was expecting the worst based on reading some reviews, but it actually wasn't bad in my opinion. The area the club is in seems ok. It is close to the airport around a 5 minute drive. The club is just a basic bar with a large center area for the dancers stage. The cover is $5 and beers are $6.75. I arrived on a Sunday evening around 10 pm. There were around 10 dancers working and maybe around the same number of customers. The dancer quality was actually better than I expected with most of the dancers around 6-7 on a scale of 10. No stunning beauties working, but no real dogs either. I didn't partake in any dances that night as no one really appealed to me and I needed to hit the road as I had a drive ahead of me. I plan to stop back on my next trip to Detroit.
