A rainy Thursday, and I stopped because I-91 in a downpour was getting tiring. Having been here before, I didn't expect much, so I wasn't disappointed (much). On the plus side: I had a really good sandwich. Also on the plus side: a couple of the girls. It would be cruel to suggest that one of them might fit in at the Trolley Museum across the street, so I won't.
There were also some younger, slimmer entertainers present, but the desultory standing and barely moving on stage didn't inspire a lot of attention from the tipping customers. And when girls aren't on stage, they tend to disappear into the dressing room, which makes LD options somewhat limiting unless you book them while the dancers are on stage. I eventually went for a couple of songs with a pretty 30ish blonde, but it wasn't terribly erotic -- or perhaps I wasn't in the mood. She certainly didn't try to inspire me.
Once I was back on the highway, it occurred to me was that the most inspiring aspect of the visit was the sandwich. Roast beef and provolone . . .
