I was staying out by the airport and tired of the same old same old so ventured over to Dearborn to check out the Cricket. Arrived around 6 PM no cover and the day shift was still on and the night shift was starting to filter in. Stopped at the bar ordered a mini-bucket 2 beers $9 with a bucket of ice to keep the second one cold, nice touch. Watched the stage show for a bit something for everybody most dancers on stage for 4 songs performance varied from uninspired to full out dance routines. Every dancer had various levels of ink, not my favorite but on some it worked. After 4 songs a dancer comes up and sits next to me at the table, she never introduced herself but began the sell of the back room. Must have talked for 20 minutes and finally got down to the meat of the conversation. It appeared a C note would pretty much provide enough activity to leave drained, so too speak. It was still early in the evening and I had a dinner meeting so I said that was way outside my budget and without even a counter offer she got up and left. I finished my second beer and hit the road. Nice club "safe" area for Detroit could be fun give the correct time and fund allocation.
