I am a business traveler and sometimes I am able to partake in the local offerings. Last week I had to travel near LA and ended up at Deja Vu in the City of Industry. I had heard this was the place to go if in LA so I was glad it was close.

The building has been described but this place puts the strip in strip mall. It is basically the anchor of a strip mall. This is nice for me as there is plenty of parking and it doesn't seem sketchy. I was there on a Tuesday just after 4. The person in front of me had a free entrance coupon but they still charged him $10 so I am not sure what that is about. I paid $20 and headed in.

Once inside it wasn't very busy but there were several guys in the booths along the wall. The girl on stage was pretty but her dance was uninspired to say the least. Looked like she was forced to be there and since nobody was at the tip rail I don't really blame her but I would hope she would try to I twice me to tip. She did not so I took a seat at a table. I didn't see other dancers so I was starting to worry - I went and bought a water (their label and $5) and back to my seat. The second song for the dancer on stage started and no change.
