On a Saturday my wife and I were traveling through Des Moines. Since we had some errands that took us to West Des Moines, we decided to stay on that side of town and try Beach Girls for the first time. While Beach Girls is kind of out in the country, it is a very short cab ride from a couple motels on Mills Civic Parkway. Those motels, however, are quite pricy.

We arrived at Beach Girls early in the evening. The staff was friendly, and the layout of the place was nice. It is basically two stages with a walkway between. There are pool tables and darts at the far end, next to the restrooms. The chairs were nice and comfortable, and everything seemed to be clean and well maintained.

I don’t like when reviewers are critical of the dancer’s appearance. However the first two dancers we saw really should consider another line of work. I don’t know how they got past an audition.
