I was in Erie and heard about Kandy's so I decided to make a detour. The trip out to Waterford was about 20 minutes by rural backroads, and I wouldn't want to make the trip in heavy snow. There were about 10-15 patrons in the club when I got there. I saw a group of about 4-5 girls/guys who looked barely old enough to get in (locals maybe?). There were 2 dancers onstage at any given time, but almost nobody was tipping. I sat at the rail for a while, but started to feel ridiculous all by myself. Dancer quality was OK but not exceptional. Dancers weren't particularly friendly and it seemed like they catered to regulars. Nobody came up and talked to me, despite the fact that I was tipping pretty well at the stage. When I asked a girl for a set of private dances I payed at the back and waited about 25 minutes for her to finish talking with random people before she came and got me. One gets the sense that the dancers are not particularly motivated. Private dances were good but pretty tame and also very short. There are a bunch of more exotic things available, like shower shows, but I didn't try any of those out.

The location itself was really well done. The club was extremely clean and bigger than it looks from the road. BYOB only, but there were a bunch of places to store your booze.

All in all, the place is pretty cheap ($10 cover, 3 private dances for $30 bucks). Probably the biggest thing going for it is that it's one of the cleanest and most put together clubs I've been in. Even if this place is more lively on weekends I still wouldn't say it's a must visit. If you're nearby it might be worth a shot.
