Like a previous poster said: unlike any strip club experience I've had in the States. I had a couple of hours to kill in Paris on a Monday, and this particular Monday being a bank holiday, I figured I'd check out either Theatre Chochotte or Show Girls. Settled on Chochotte because it was closer to my hotel, so made the walk over from the first arrondissement. I'd read beforehand about the format at these establishments, and this one in particular--so no surprises. You descend into the basement whereupon there are a series of couches facing a stripper pole and a couch. When I arrived downstairs, there were two patrons and single dancer gyrating around the pole. By the time I'd sat down, the dancer's show was over and the three of us awaited the next skit. Two new girls appeared at top of the stairwell wearing bikinis and slowly descended the stairs. As they set up towels on the floor, they asked the three of us (patrons) to help them apply sunscreen all over their bodies. The two ladies undressed and had us continue the body rub treatment for about ten minutes before things got um, interesting.
