I stopped by Diamonds late on...

I stopped by Diamonds late on a Saturday night at the reccomendation of another tuscl user. Let me be completely clear: I will not be returning to Diamonds. Ever. The experience was a complete disappointment and inferior to Golden Dragon (Portland's other 18+ club) in every way.

The club itself felt very small. In nice condition, but small. There's only one stage, it's only big enough for one dancer, and it's behind a bar counter, so it's impossible to see anything unless you are at the counter. Seats throughout the club are very uncomfortable. The lap dance room is pitch black, so you can't even enjoy the show there. Not to mention it was absolutely dead, on a Saturday night of all times. My friend and I were the only patrons there.

The dancers were underwhelming at best. I counted 5 on staff tops, and most looked incredibly bored and unenthusiastic. One in particular took no clothes off and just sort of swayed back and forth lazily until her songs were done. I found myself more entertained by the large screen TV than the stage show.

Lap dances are 1 topless for 20, 1 nude for 25, or 3 nude for 50. Saturdays are advertised as 2 for 1 lap dances, but this information is false. I decided to try the 3 for 50 and received what I can only describe as a thorough pummeling to my junk by my dancer's ass. It was unpleasant.

All in all a very mediocre experience I don't plan to repeat. If you want a good 18+ club, hit Golden Dragon.
