Back in April I first reported...
Back in April I first reported the addition of the dreaded time clock. I hadn't been back since, and with all the controversy here, I was curious as to how the SD was holding up.
A gloomy Thursday afternoon brought a handful of patrons, including the strange homeless guy I'd seen bouncing in the corner before. Four dancers were on duty, and while the atmosphere was laid back, things seemed a little weird. No one approached me for a dance, and two of the dancers on stage seemed decidedly unhappy to be there. One complained about her job while another dancer never talked or smiled. It looked like a third dancer was getting a lecture from the manager too. Weird.
I always liked the SD over other Providence clubs simply because while the women weren't quite as gorgeous and didn't dance nude on stage, a lot more fun could be had in the private dance area. Thankfully this hasn't changed. Knowing that what a dancer does on stage is a good indication of what will happen in the private area, I bought two dances from Ebony, an African-American dancer. My hands freely roamed while hers found their way inside my clothes. I left a happy (and messy) camper.
