It was Memorial Day weekend and...

It was Memorial Day weekend and I was back in Seattle after being out of town on business for a while. I needed to get out of the house for a bit. I decided on Dreamgirls at Rick's since I haven't been back there for a while.

The parking lot was only about a third full when I pulled in, but it was a holiday weekend so it wasn't a surprise. I paid the cover and went into the club. I found a good spot between the two stages on the bench seating area on the south wall. The waitress was attentive and got me a drink as soon as I sat down.

I saw some familiar faces from my last visit to the club, but a number of girls had taken the night off, maybe due to the holiday weekend. However, it was still pretty busy nonetheless. There was apparently group who had a friend who just turned 18 and they were pretty entertaining to watch and seemed to be having a good time. The staff eventually brought the guy up on stage and four of the dancers tag teamed him. He almost lost his pants while on stage as they were "abusing" him pretty good to everyone's amusement. Thankfully, his pals did bring money to make it "rain" although it didn't last long. The dancers appeared to have a good time too, but a few of them looked drunk.
