So after living in Starkville, MS...

So after living in Starkville, MS for 3 years I finally broke down and gave "The Pony" a shot. To be completely fair, I did go on a Wednesday; but still, that was no excuse for the quality and pushyness of the dancers that night. If I recall correctly, the cover was 10 or 15$ but you got two free drinks (thats fine by me). Everything else after that was downhill. The girls were very pushy, trying to get dances. When I politely told one perhaps later, she got all pouty and wanted to know why I thought she was ugly (she was, but thats not the point). I finally found a dancer that I liked (7/10 perhaps!) and after she asked me for a dance (and I agreed) she asked if I would buy her a drink... told her 'sure' what will you have (but she only wanted the money). Alright, it was getting late and I wanted a dance... so the dance, well, she had on pasties?! Asked what the deal was with them (she didnt have them on while on stage) and she said it was company policy, and I should book the VIP room (starting at $150 for 10 minutes going to 300 for 30 minutes).

Long story short, lot of my friends have had a good time there, so perhaps I just had a bad experience... but I will not be going back there.
