It was a flip of the coin, whether I was going to head to Austin, where several of the clubs were known to me, or to stay put in San Antonio and check out one or more of the clubs here.  San Antonio won.  After reading many of the reviews here on TUSCL I was all set to head over to the Men's Club but a friend who is local to SA intervened and recommended that we hit up Perfect 10 instead.  His logic was based primarily on the fact that Tuesday's are $5 drink nights coupled with the fact that he knew a couple of the girls there and he convinced me that our money would go farther there then at the other clubs in and around SA.

The club is located in a densely packed retail shopping district near the airport which to my eyes meant that the neighborhood was very safe.  The fact that all of the real estate around it was extremly well lit contributed to my sense of safety.  The club has valet parking at the front door but the parking lot for the shopping center immediately next to the club was virtually empty and only 30' or so away so the valet parking situation is just one option available to you.

After paying the $10 cover charge you are faced with a broad expanse of seating options situated around 3 principle stages.  The one immediately in front of you with the long brass pole is stage 3 and the 2 over to the right are stage's 1 and 2 respectively.  In addition to the main floor there is a "champagine room" to the far right that featured love seats in addition to the standard arm chairs situated around the club floor but instead of it being a darker more secluded space where one could get away from the prying eyes of club management and other patrons it was actually brighter in that area than pretty much anywhere else in the club.  A $50 fee which includes a bottle of entry level champagine (Barefoot Red Moscato to be exact) gets you in to that area.  That's a pretty cheep barier to entry if you ask me but given how well lit the area was I couldn't see the value in it.
