Stopped into the Katch on my way through Knoxville. This club sells no alcohol, you have to buy it next door and bring it into the club. It is a large open area with a section of couches on raised platform. Dances there are more expensive than down on the floor. The chairs are metal with a little padding, and not that comfortable. There are a series of couches along one wall. I got in a for a $10 cover, and the place had very few patrons. There were several ladies walking around, many more than there were customers. Unfortunately none of the ladies were outstanding. There was a two 7's but that was about it. I think they were desperate to get dances, so they were pretty insistent on giving dances. If you spent a little money they seemed glad to sit and chat for awhile. I was offered deals on dances and they were pretty good grind dances, so that was a plus, but they were strictly one way. The music was a bit loud and it was difficult to find a good place for a quiet chat. There is no VIP room or private area for dances. I had a few dances and some good conversation. The club is easy to see from the Interstate, but it is a little challenging to find when you exit. The atmosphere was laid back, and felt safe. I was offered some OTC but wasn't spending the night so I had to pass. Not a bad place to kill a few hours, but not worth a road trip to sample.
