I'd driven by Aura a few...

I'd driven by Aura a few times and decided to stop in. The place has a fairly large seating area around the stage. I saw one girl dancing on stage, and another talking to a customer at the bar. They seemed to have 3 people working as bartenders (who were actually quite attractive), so service was pretty quick, though the drinks were mediocre. As for the dancers, they ranged from below average to kinda cute, but none of them seemed very good at dancing on stage. To put it another way, there were maybe 30-40 guys in this SC, and I only saw about 5 at a time in the area around the stage, everybody else was hanging around the bar.

Overall, Aura isn't a bad place, but it's not that good a place either. It's trying to pull off a classy "Vegas" atmosphere, but it's got the wrong neighborhood/dancers/clientele for that. At the same time, all the loud music and pink neon prevents it from being a cool low-key neighborhood bar kinda place.

I might go back again, but in all honesty, I probably won't .
