I went to Spearmint Rhino about...

I went to Spearmint Rhino about a month ago with some friends. We did arrange for a shuttle bus pick us up from our hotel, and that got us into the club for free, but we did end up paying about 30 bucks each to the shuttle driver so it was probably a wash in terms of cost savings.

I'd say the club is medium-sized, not small but not huge. The DJ said that there were about 80 girls working that night, ranging from 7-9 on average. The place was packed, really, it was overpacked as there was nowhere to sit. We had to put our name on the list for a table, and were told it would be about two hours. We ended up putting our name on the list, but shortly after we ran into another group of friends from back home, and sat with them for a while until they decided to leave. We took over their table, and started to order some dances and drinks initially, but within a half hour of our friends leaving the bouncers came over and told us we had to leave the table. We understood why, but still the idea of waiting another hour or longer for a table to order dances from didn't seem too appealing to us, so we left and went to Sapphire where they had plenty of seating despite also being packed, but that's another review.

Overall the Rhino seems like a great club, plenty of eye candy around, but sometimes it can get too packed during prime time. I'll be back, but will try to aim to go at off peak times if possible.
