I went at shift change yesterday...

I went at shift change yesterday evening, which really serves to point out the differences between days and night shift. Lots of friendly playing going on when I got there, and just the right mix of dancers and customers. Not too crowded in other words. Visited with some dancers I knew, and watched the show. I was just about ready to get some dances when everybody started to leave, and the younger, less experienced, more remote girls began showing up. Hot on their heels came the flocks of baggy pants - backward hat teens. Time for this one to go home. Day shift is definitely more to my liking.
