This is not your posh city...
This is not your posh city club, by any stretch. To reach the club you have to drive about four miles off the main highway (which is in itself an hour outside of the cities). The patrons consist mostly of country boys in their camo sweatshirts, dirty ball caps and scruffy beards. But I could care less about the patrons as I'm here for the ladies.
The actual strip part of the club is through a set of swinging double doors once you pass through the first small bar area that consists of a bar and pool table. The female bartender in her fishnet stockings was friendly as she poured me my $7 glass of whiskey. Once through the double doors, there is a bouncer and a cover charge of $7. I found it interesting that the bar and bouncer did not give singles as change - all the change (as well as when I asked for twenty ones) consisted of two dollar bills. I thought that was sort of cool, and definitely in favor of the dancers.
There were about half a dozen girls working. The stage is a large X with a pole in the middle, so there is plenty of room on all sides to sit. There are also a number of small tables and chairs around the stage and then along two walls are large padded chairs/sofas for lap dances (which are the standard $20). On this Thursday night there were maybe ten patrons inside, all of them at the stage, while each of the ladies danced, getting fully nude, to a total of three songs each.
