The first thing worth noting is...

The first thing worth noting is that this is not a 'Black' club at least not while on this visit. I saw 3 women or color and all three appeared to be over the hill and probably should not be dancing and the others were white and ranged from mid-twenties to late thirties forties. There was no cover when I got here so i just walked right in. Like most clubs in Richmond, smoking indoors is allowed and as this is a huge negative for me I probably stayed here for an hour tops. There is more than adequate parking and with all the eyes in the sky cameras around each corner of the small building someone appears to be always watching. In my opinion, the decor is one of an old bar that needs some care but judging from the audience here though it worked. I ordered a beer and suffered through the shows hoping it would get better. No such luck, I made my exit and did not look back
