The Pussycat is one of the few Block bars with a history extending back into the early years - only 2 owners in the over 50 years of the Blockist's tenure as visitor, reviewer, and supporter of its many charitable institutions. As the Block has changed, so has the Pussycat, but through it all the club has pretty much maintained an aura of respectability while retaining its focus on the product for which the Block is famous - the promise of satisfaction without the stress of a lifetime commitment.

The Blockist has been sort of busy with life recently, but wandered into the Pussycat a couple of times over the last couple of weeks. One visit was a total disappointment - bought a drink and lapdance with one of the tiniest dancers in Block history and discovered she was recovering from a "mysterious illness" and fell asleep in mid-grind - never a desirable situation. The next week's visit was very different - about as satisfying as is possible in Block terms. The Blockist may have found a new BFF.

You'll recognize the (unnamed to protect her reputation) entertainer by her short hair with residual Mohawk, voluptuous tall figure, intelligent and forthright (at least not stupid) approach to her chosen work, and an attitude that includes her own pleasure in the entertainment mix - an unbeatable combination in the Blockist's humble opinion. Having invested the requisite time, the Blockist was blown away by the unexpected lapdance experience that ensued.
