Adelita Bar is one of the top two bars in Tijuana Mexico that is a MUST SEE. I visited the bar in the late evening. All bars in Mexico have very heavy velvet drapes over their entrances and barkers outside the bar beckoning you in. Most brag of beautiful girls and drink specials. Adelita does not have drink specials, but does have some of the hotter women in the bars. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by a waiter for a drink and will take you to a booth or table of your choice. The large dance stage is in the middle of the bar with a single brass pole. There are booths around the stage and booths around the outsides of the bar.

Just like almost EVERY bar in Tijuana, Adelita is NOT a "normal" bar. It is a brothel. ALMOST ALL bars in Mexico are brothels. If you know this as a patron and you're from the US, this is a GOOD thing. When you walk in the bar and sit down, you will either be greeted by a young lady that will be glad to sit with you and entertain you or there are a plethora of women just standing around like ornaments in a store waiting to be chosen. Every lady will smile and nod at you as you walk by hoping you will choose her.

Now, there is a protocol to keep when spending time with ladies in Mexico. If you would like a lady to sit and entertain you, you must buy her a Tecate beer. It is customary for that beer to be 2x the price of your beer. I learned that this is because you are paying for her drink AND a tip/kickback from the bar. if you watch carefully, the waiter will hand the lady a ticket. At the end of the night, the ladies turn in their tickets for cash. I've just accepted this. You can say "yes, no ticket" and the girl will only get the beer. What you must understand is that for your extra $4 tip, you're getting personal attention and some amazing touching and groping.
