So I was in TO, and decided to drop into the famous Zanzibar...I've always gone to Brass Rail as the quality is amazing there, but was hustled several times, which prompted me to try Z.

It's not a lot of space in there, and the waitresses are pushy for drinks. That, I didn't like. To be honest, it was surprisingly slow for a Thursday night. The talent wasn't really there for some reason. Some girls had approached and gave the usual "wanna dance" routine, but I have to say, is much less than Brass Rail where you are literally thrown into a pool of sharks who are straight business.

Anyway, one girl who was talkative sat down to talk, even when I insisted I'm not staying long. They were not my type at all, but they didn't take no for an answer. Be prepared to be fight off the insistent ones. I finally told her "I only have enough money for a few drinks" = instantly gone haha.
