I had one night in Houston...

I had one night in Houston and decided to find a little action. Telephone road looked like the place to find it. I had read some reviews before stopping into the Blue Cat. It was the only club open after midnight on a Sunday. One other club appeared to be open, but I wasn't going into that place alone, it looked really sketchy...

Apparently the club is called the Blue Cat Lounge because there are three or four cats running around the place. The pool table was covered with a blanket to create a cat bed! The bartender was nice, and a beer was only three dollars. There were only three women working the Blue Cat that evening. All were sitting at the bar with other customers so I grabbed a beer and chatted with the bartender, a 60+ year old woman who was very pleasant, while I waited to see if one of the women would free up soon and come over. None of them were what I would call attractive, but two out of the three would do in a pinch.

Unfortunately, the one that came over to me had to be pushing seventy. The body odor nearly knocked me out and when she spoke, it was like taking a drag off of a cigarette. I can overlook one of the three, but I was not interested, but she didn't take the hint and I couldn't be rude. It would be like insulting somebody's Grandma.
