Gave this place a second try, I had a free pass so it was low risk. My previous review is a couple down the list. Sad to say, another terrible experience. Again because this club looks really nice, the bouncers nor the girls or anybody feels the need to show any strip club customer service. When I presented my free pass, the bouncer looked at my id and said with an attitude, "looks like you were trying to pose for the picture." What an asshole. There was another guy paying cover, but when he saw my pass he remembered he had one. When he tried to give it to the girl at the register, she said, "oops too late you already paid here's a free drink pass." Lame. The guy had a free pass and they basically told him to fuck off.

Once inside, most of the dancers were the same from a few nights ago. No one approached me. I said hi to a girl who was sitting with another dancer and she sat down. She asked how was I doing and I said I wasn't too happy with my previous experience at the club. She immediately got really pissed and took it personally that I didn't think much of the place. A total bitch. She went into this whole tirade about how she knows which guys are going to spend and that I had know idea how a club works because I'm not in the business. Really I didn't care, I didn't feel the need to prove myself to her. She was proving my point by screaming and drawing attention to herself. Basically I told her that when I go into a club and see groups of dancers ignoring guys on a Saturday night, that's a bad thing. When guys go to the stage here, the dancers ignore the guy and won't even walk up to his chair at the end of the stage. She pretty much agreed with me that strippers in this club are pretentious and stuck up. She offered me a free couch dance and said she offered a money back guarantee. I told her forget it, that she totally ruined any mood with her shitty attitude. When in New Orleans, go to Scores or Visions. You'll regret wasting your time and money at Penthouse after visiting the other two. I really wanted to do the whole Bourbon St. Strip Club tour, but the clubs suck so bad that I regretted it afterwards.

Penthouse club isn't worth your time and money. The more guys that go to this place and pay for shitty VIP/lap dances, the longer these bad attitudes will continue. I think most guys who go into this place don't know what a good strip club experience is and just throw money out because the girls are hot and the club is posh. Most of them might be strip club rookies who are afraid to walk in a joint unless it looks like a 5 star restaurant. At the very least, you better get a hand in the pants for a lap dance. Forget about ANY extras at this place. Go to Scores, best combination of mileage/dancer attractiveness in the French Quarter. Yeah Scores is a smaller club, a little older and the girls are somewhat less attractive but at least you'll have a fun time.
