So I stumbled into Solid Gold...

So I stumbled into Solid Gold one Wednesday night to check out the scene. I had met a dancer at another club who said she usually worked there - so I was curious about it.

Upon arrival you are greeted by a Valet parking guy who tries to get money out of you even if you want to park yourself. I'm not sure if you have to pay or not but I went and parked myself and he didn't say anything to me. The club is pretty nice, and has a sit down restaurant inside. High ceilings and a nice bar. The lap dance area is sorta beat up but it does the job.

There seemed to be a lot of hostess/cabana girls running drinks to tables and vip areas but not a whole lot of dancers. The dancers were wearing nice gowns instead of stripper gear, so that can be nice if you're in the mood for that. Most of the girls were a little older looking. Drinks were about $9. There are definitely some dancers trying to sell dances but some will sit and talk which is a nice contrast to the Miami turbo hustle.
