The Cabaret Club is a dive,...
The Cabaret Club is a dive, there is no getting over that. But if you are interested in getting the most from your money in EL Paso and not picky about the dancers appearances, it is the place to go. It is also nude and BYOB. There is a guy at the front door who will go to the liquor store and bring you beer or other drinks though; the last time I was there, he charged $5. You can get the usual soda and juice at the bar in the back for $5. If you have alcohol you will be very popular with the dancers.
The place is very dark, so let your eyes get accustomed to the dark. You will be escorted from the door to your seat. Dancers are very forward here and will immediately come up to you and start asking if you want company. Some will sit without asking. It is best to wait until your eyes get adjusted to the light before you make any decisions on who to get a dance from. The stage dances are secondary here, the dancers just go through the motions. Still a tip at the stage can get you some fun time and almost guarantees that the dancer will come by your table. Most of the dancers are hispanic and their command of English varies considerably. Still they communicate effectively. If you don't like dancers touching you, this is not the place to be.
Although table dances are offered, almost everyone gets a dance in the booths along the walls. The pricing structure is not well enforced, supposedly it is $20 topless and $30 nude, but I have not noticed much difference, so stick with the $20 dance. Dancers are usually up front about what they will do for you in the booth, and often before going there, and as long as you are respectful, you can have a good time. Things happen fast in the booths so if there isn't much happening, try another dancer.
