My first time at a DC...

My first time at a DC club. It was different than what I was used to, but thanks to some reviews, I had an idea what to expect.

The club is a bit small...it's an old row-house, so it's long and narrow. Two floors with the stages about halfway back and bars at the back. The website says "no shirts without collars or blue jeans" for the second floor, but I saw a number of people go up there in jeans. I was wearing a collared shirt and jeans and went upstairs briefly, but there was no place to sit, so I went back downstairs.

I sat at the end of the bar and had a decent view of the stage. Import beers (at least what I had (bass)) were $9.90 a bottle! Very expensive in my book, but since there was no cover charge, I didn't mind too much.
