My wife and I came down to the area to stay at the Rising Star Casino. The last time we were at Concepts (Lawrenceburg), the bartender had suggested my wife and I go try Journey's (the name on the sign now says Concepts). From the casino it is about 15 minutes away. It is away from things. The place looks really nice (especially when my point of reference was Concepts). We got there about 7pm. At that time, we were the only patrons. The bartender was out due to surgery so the manager was bartending. He was a nice guy and the conversation was good. We ended up talking to a couple of the girls at the bar. It is a full bar, which means they cannot take their tops off. I initially thought this would not be a big deal to the experience, but since we were not used to that it did. We both had mixed drinks which were $6 a piece. A little high in my mind with no type of happy hour mentioned. One layout flaw (which we were told would be corrected in the near future) was that the bar was essentially in a different area than the one stage. If you were drinking at the bar you could not see any of the stage show. As for the girls it was a mixed bag (keeping in mind there were about 5 girls there). All of them were white, a couple were really skinny, one was a bit thicker (which was ok by us), and a couple were average proportion. The dance prices are $15 per or $69 for six. We did not get any dances though. It is a much more laid back place than Concepts in Lawrenceburg. I asked the manager about only being open till midnight and he said it was incorrect. He said they were open from 4pm - 2am on Wednesday, Thursday was "optional" depending on if they were getting customers, and 4pm - 3am on Friday and Saturday. We were there from 7 - 10pm. We were there by ourselves for the first hour, 2-5 guys came in over the next couple of hours, and about 8 people came in during the last hour. If you want a laid back place to hang out with hustle and need the full bar it is not a bad place. My wife and I are willing to just have the beer/wine and less of the nice place to have a bit better atmosphere and more girls at concepts. We will probably check them out on Saturday.
