I was in Vegas for a work convention. It was Thursday morning (about 10:30 am)and I was sitting in a boring lecture in a large hotel convention hall. I figured no one would notice my absence so I snuck out to see if there really was 24 hour action at one of the big Vegas strip clubs. I hopped a cab from my hotel on the strip and was at SR by 11am. When I arrived, I still needed to pay the cover (I think $20). It appeared they were in the middle of a major cleaning session as there were numerous industrial vacuums and air dryers in service. It was loud and certainly did not make for the best atmosphere. On the flip side, given the odd hour I was one of less than 10 patrons. There were seven girls I could count. Despite the fact it was before noon, I grabbed a beer (why not, I was in Vegas) after sitting down in an area full of tables where I had been directed to sit by a bouncer. Soon, I had a rather buxom (enhanced) brunette approach me and sit down to join me. She was in her late twenties. She talked a lot about her legitimate marketing work outside of the club. While she claimed to be successful, I really had to doubt her in light of the fact she was working in a strip club at 11:00 am on a thursday. Anyway, after about ten minutes of talk, she invited me to a private lap dance room where you receive 3 lap dances for $100. She said a tip was expected if she did a nice job. I took that to mean I should expect agressive dances. I was mistaken. Lots of one way touching. No reciprocation. Nice girl, but not an impressive dancer. Not feeling good about the experience, I left and caught a cab to Sapphire where a had a much better experience. Maybe it was my fault for going during a dead shift at SR, but I would recommend Sapphire if asked to choose between the two.
