Visited: Thursday Evening

After a long day of Thursday business two weeks ago I decided to make my first visit to Southside Johnny’s. I arrived at the club around 11 pm, paid my $5.00 cover and entered the club. There was not much going on. I noted 4 dancers and a couple of customers as I made my way to the bar for a $2.00 bottled water.

In walking over to find a seat I felt a presence behind me and as I sat a cute Black dancer sat down side me giving me a Detroit Handshake. She said her name was Barbie and we talked a bit. She offered a dance but I wasn’t feeling it yet wanting to decompress from my business day. After a few more minutes Barbie got up and left.

I watched a MILF type dancer on the stage perform her routine. After she finished there was no more stage dancing. As I finished my bottled water I considered leaving when a thick young lady came over and sat down beside me. She said she was from New York and we talked. She was nice. After talking or awhile she offered a lap dance at $30 or a half-hour VIP at $120. I really wasn’t interested in the VIP with this particular young lady. Yet, feeling I owed her a lapdance since she had spent some time talking to me I accepted her offer. I did try to negotiate a 2 for $40 but she turned me down saying that was a Tuesday only special. The lapdance was okay, not inspiring, with touching above the waist. I should have stopped at one but did two for a total of $60.00. What can I say, when in Rome, be Roman.

I got another bottled water and left after downing it. On the way out Barbie came over and told me she would give me a 2 for $40 anytime. Indeed that maybe my motivation for another Southside Johnny’s visit the next time I’m in Greensboro.
