Back at my favorite club after...

Back at my favorite club after a hiatus of several months. It was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night, although it seemed to be picking up at the time I left. But plenty of talent on hand, much of it new. I saw very few familiar faces -- I don't know whether there's been a lot of turnover or I simply picked a night that many of the regulars took off. (That would seem unusual on a Saturday.) In any case, the EB traditions of close personal attention haven't changed. And if there has been turnover, it may be slightly for the better: there has always been a coterie of overweight and/or past-their-prime ladies who just weren't there on Saturday. One of my BFFs, Luna, was there, and she has a new Brazilian sidekick, Melissa, who could become another favorite on repeated acquaintance.

Note to management: having an attendant in the mens' room is idiotic, especially when he spreads out a buffet of mens' cosmetic products all over the sink so that one can't actually wash one's hands. And some of us like a little privacy when we pee. And it isn't like the room was any cleaner. Get rid of this asshole and hire a janitor!
