A couple of buddies and I had been out celebrating, and after a few drinks, decided our celebration would be a little better if we had some beautiful (and topless) ladies by our sides. Pink monkey has one of the most convenient locations of any Chicago club, so this is where we went. The cover charge was high, ($30), but in comparison to the $15 average cover for other clubs, I think it was fairly justifiable. The club is clean, the decor is sexy and appealing, the staff is friendly, and the girls... Where to begin...

There weren't many customers when we arrived, but regardless, we were seated promptly and a gorgeous waitress immediately took our drink (mixers only) order. Fortunately we knew of the byob rule before we arrived. As soon as we had our order, dancers approached us to introduce themselves and politely asked to join us. I want to emphasize the whole "polite" thing, because at other clubs, I've felt girls are pushy and overly eager... I usually prefer to have a few drinks before talking with the entertainers, but here was a different story. We had them sit with us and they're allowed to drink, so don't be afraid to offer a beverage. As we sat and chatted, there were two ladies who didn't stick around long because we weren't ready for dances, but overall, we got exactly what we wanted. Beautiful women who listened and offered surprisingly good conversation, and then after a few drinks, led us to the VIP room for dances.

Yes, the prices are high, but this is downtown Chicago. You won't get the girls or experience you do here for a simple $100 at other clubs. The VIP section had private booths and the girls will do a full contact lap dance. Yes gentlemen, you can touch... But don't get too frisky, the girls will let you know if you cross the line. At first I was disappointed, but what kept me in the VIP for hours was the mystery factor. These girls sell fantasy and they're damn good at it.

My only negatives would be the couple of overly pushy girls who seemed to get angry with us for not being ready to dance, the "selection" of girls in terms of ethnic diversity wasn't very broad, (mostly white, some hispanic, maybe one black girl, a couple middle eastern looking girls, and no asian girls), the fact that I'm going to have to come up with a story for how I managed to spend $1200 at a "steak house" on my credit card statement (should've paid cash!) and the fact that they don't serve booze. Once our bottle was gone, we started losing steam, but none of these things were night ruiners.

Oh, one last bit of advice to you guys... Especially those of you who have complaints everywhere you go... Tip the ladies well, they'll show you their appreciation in more ways than with a "thank you"...
