So, a friend of mine who used to live in the area (about 4 years ago) said I should maybe check out a place called Leather and Lace on 74 in Monroe. I decided to give it a shot and took the drive out there around 5pm. Upon arrival I discovered that it hasn't been called L&L for quite a while (maybe that should have been my cue to leave). Pulled into the parking lot, which has no privacy and is highly visible to the highway and there was only one other car in the lot (another cue). Got out and walked in to a very dark entry way which led me to the main club, which was also poorly lit. From where I was there were two dancers walking around with old club music playing. I got a drink ($2 domestic) then sat down between the bar and stage and was approached by a woman who was maybe 40 with a very loose bikini on which did not help hiding her body, although her face wasn't too bad. She asked me what I was interested in and asked what was offered there. She then sat on my lap, grabbed my crotch and said that for $100 I could get any thing I wanted, especially if we went to a motel. I gave her a 20 and got a decent lap dance with roaming both ways, then told her I had to run to a meeting. Overall I probably won't be back, and I was a little turned off by how quickly I was offered takeout.
