Stopped by tonight and last Saturday....

Stopped by tonight and last Saturday. Quite a difference -- last Saturday was disappointing but tonight was much nicer. Tonight was "Country Night" themed with $10 cover and beers were normal priced ($6.25) rather than 2 for 1. However, it was a fun place to be. Lots of cute dancers, most wearing cowboy hats, etc. I had fun. They had some "silly" promotions, a free shot (not sure what it was -- kinda sweet), all dancers on stage at once being introduced by name, some contest where 2 girls competed for a VIP membership by have dancers try to break a balloon by bouncing up and down on their laps on the stage. All pretty silly, but it made for a "fun" vibe. By contrast, last Saturday was a bit dreary -- lower quality dancers, more hustle, fewer patron smiles, not as crowded. I don't think the theme mattered, more that there was a theme and an attempt to make it a fun, relaxed atmosphere. For me (& others, I think) it worked. Other than tonight, the last couple of MS visits have been "off," way down from the "old days" including a few dancers who really shouldn't have been dancing. None of that tonight, every dancer had something going for her tho many weren't my type of course.
