I am always up for checking...
I am always up for checking out a new gentleman’s club, so when the opportunity arose to check out the Center Stage I jumped at it. Situated near the Mardi Gras, it is under the same ownership. I had seen it there for years but never had occasion to go inside w/ the Mardi Gras being so close. A buddy was advocating that we go there instead of the Mardi Gras, as he said the girls there work harder for their tips, so I enthusiastically agreed.
Physically, you walk in and pay the cover at a counter (can’t remember how much, but can’t be more than the $7.00 that they charge at MG). And I believe that they agreed to admit one member of our group for no cost. Then, they literally frisk you. Then, you walk up a few steps to the main club area. There is a large square stage in the middle, a bar to the left and the private dance area to the right separated by a wall. Between the stage and private dance area, and I think toward the back of the stage, there are some high tables w/ chairs. The DJ booth, w/ smoke machine, is to the rear. The men’s room, clean and serviceable and w/o an attendant, is on the same level as all of this.
Drinks at the bar were inexpensive, I think 16 oz. drafts and 12 oz. bottles, at least the ones that we ordered, were each $3.00.
