Business took me down to Roanoke...

Business took me down to Roanoke and I had things taken care of a little earlier than expected so I figured I would check out the Gold and Silver Club.

The club is pretty close to downtown Roanoke and right across from a Mexican restaurant. I suspect on heavy days they both share the parking lot. This was my first time to the club and before you go inside there is a guy sitting in a little cubby-hole booth waiting to take your money and buzz you in.

The cost [if I remember correctly] is $20 for a 6 month membership and $10 for each visit therein, afterwhich it's time to renew (I doubt I'll be in Roanoke again within six months so it's really a $20 entry fee). In order to become a member you do have to fill out a form with name and address (the guy in the booth also will inspect your driver's license) and they make sure to ask you at least 5 times whether or not you are law enforcement....interesting. I filled out the form after he promised that I would not get any unsolicited mail and got buzzed into the club.
