Well I was in the greater WV area and decided to sample the local flavor at Taboo Gentleman's Club. As I walked in I paid a $5 cover fee in a small window just inside the foyer. As I entered it is very dark and took my eyes a couple minutes to adjust. In front of me as I walked in was a large elevated dance area with two poles. Surrounded by metal padded chairs. Behind them were small tables with white table cloths like it was a fine romantic eatery that caters to couples. They were pretty much strewn all around the place. The bar is to the right and will seat maybe a dozen and a half patrons or their guests. Large couch like structures draped in red velvet straight out of 80s-90s Vegas were off to the far right with two neon signs that said "VIP" right above them, very classy. On either side of the bar were small curtained rooms that said either "Private" or "Champagne" above them. These signs were lighted, but more tasteful in my opinion. There are all these effects like water tubes with lighting and bubbles decorating the place. Lots of black lighting and neon. Kind of circa 90s clubs. Everything looked fairly new and in good working order, so it must just be the owners taste. But I digress, what is truly important is the dancers.

I made my way over the bar and ordered my obligatory Miller Lite, since I had some traveling to do, no bourbon or scotch for me. There were maybe ten patrons there including myself and maybe a dozen or so dancers. Most were sitting at those aforementioned tables with dancers just chatting. If it weren't for the stage, I would call this place more of a hostess bar than a strip club.

The dancers were like an Eastwood movie, Good, Bad, and Ugly. I would say of the ten dancers, two were good solid 8s, a couple 6s, and a 1 that should absolutely not be dancing. I am not a tiny guy and she was bigger than me. I sat at the bar for maybe ten minutes and no one approached me. I then went over to good old pervert's row so I could get a closer look at what was going on. No contact to speak of, that was a disappointment. I went back up to the bar and sat for a little while longer but no one approached me again, so I called it a trip. No lap dances this time to report on. They weren't even mentioned by the dancers that actually spoke to me. Maybe I would try again when I had more time to invest or with company.
