How does the old saying go, "seeing is believing". Alright, I have to admit that I thought most of the recent downgraded reviews for Follies were attempts to reduce the crowds of newbies by the regulars. Unfortunately, this isn't the case based on my recent visit. I have been away for a number of months and the change is noticeable and very disappointing.

I arrived a little after 1 on Tues, and the Valet guy already had the sign out.. BS. They were already collecting at the door, but I accidentally slipped in the exit while everyone was trying to argue at the door. (You'd think I could have taken a hint at this point) I made my way in, and the club was already crowded, smokey, including the smell of weed... at 1 in the afternoon...!!!??? The majority of chairs were filled with Hispanics and thug looking individuals. (Sorry, I know it sounds a bit racist, and I'm not that way, the the club was nearly void of the great mix of customers I was used to)

The dancer quality has gone way done, and is perhaps reflective of the daytime clientele that now frequents the club. In the 1.5 hours I was there, I only saw two white dancers.. the balance were black and Hispanic. Again, I know it may sound bad, but I prefer the cute blonde and brunette spinners that used to be in abundance on day shift here. I will think twice about coming back, but will watch the reviews and hope that the pendulum swings back the other direction.
