Made the mistake of stopping by Players Club not realizing it was closed on Monday nights. Fortunately, the Block is not too far of a drive. Monday night cover was $10 and nobody hawking to pay extra for wristbands to get upstairs. Ice water in a glass remains free (although it's good form to tip the bartender of course). Saw a lot of signs that dances were $15. Hadn't remembered seeing those before. Heard from several that dances in the private area were still 2 for $40, and this applied to table dances in the open area. Never saw anybody get one so not sure if I was being consistently scammed on the point. Ended up getting a set of 8 dances from a young beauty with a charming English accent. Had spoken with her on previous visits but never had the chance to get any dances. It was late in the night and with only a few minutes of small talk I suggested we do some dances. She claimed they'd be the best I've ever had--a promise often made and rarely fulfilled as I've had my share of dances over the years. I'd say she came darn close. Definitely within the top 10 and that's saying a lot. Even assuming she was faking the enjoyment on her side she did so very convincingly. My only complaint, and it's a smal one, is that she was a bit disappointed with my initial tip (above the dances) and then with my revised one. I ended up giving her $60 on top of the dances and I told her I thought that was very fair. She definitely delivered a good time but for that amount of money I've had much more hands on experiences. Again, would definitely go again but just feel a bit let down by the post dance exchange.
