Trophy Club was the actually the first SC I ever visited several years ago. Oh how this club has slipped in the times since then. I visited TC last Wednesday while in Florence on business. I got to the club about 10pm. I showed my hotel key and was given free entry, saving myself $10.00. I entered the club, blinking my eyes rapidly to adjust to this dark club. I found an empty seat at the bar in the rear of the club and ordered my customary Diet Coke for $2.00. I still had trouble seeing in the darkness. I wish the TC manager would take the advice of the Strip Club Hound and turn the lights up inside this place.

After a few minutes, I was approached by a friendly Black young lady. We talked for a few minutes, I told her I just wanted to chill for awhile and she left. So I sat watching the stage from afar and following the Celtics game on the TV behind the bar. Of the three dancers I saw on-stage only one removed her top during their dancing efforts. The one dancer who did go topless benefited from stage tipping. I counted 6 or 7 dancers overall, none spectacular, and about the same amount of customers. Though it had been about a year since my last TC visit, I recognized none of the dancer’s on-duty from the past. The same terrible DJ is still there though. A person can’t understand a word he says.
