Whenever I'm in SF for business,...

Whenever I'm in SF for business, I head to Gold Club because it has a nice vibe and serves drinks. Thanks to California's strict laws, the clubs that serve alcohol are non-nude (though the dancers go topless on stage for the second of their two songs). I prefer beer with my ladies, so I stay away from the nudie clubs in favor of tamer ones like Gold Club.

It's located on a fairly quiet street (which is not so unusual in early-to-bed SF), near Moscone Center and a few bars. The doormen are nice and the ladies at the front desk are usually cute, though show no effort to make you feel particularly welcome. It's clean, decently sized and not at all sleazy. The bar--where you will usually find me--is off to the side, offering a good view of the main stage and quick access to the ladies going to and from the dressing room.

I tend to hang out a bit in order to immerse myself in the evening and chat up the dancers. I usually go on Sundays or Mondays, which means it's almost always quiet. I don't mind this, as it lessens the pressure and give me more time to get to know the women. Most of the dancers are white, though there is occasionally some color. I've never had an outright negative experience, though some are better than others. Every time I go, I find at least one dancer with whom I have a good, real conversation. Nothing deep, mind you, but playful, flirty and fun.
