Leather and Lace South is like the Cheers of strip clubs. You walk in, pay the $15 ($10 if you get a "membership" card), and get buzzed in. There's always a beer on special each night of the week ($3.25), so it's easy to go in, relax with a drink, and take in the sights. The girls here walk the line between pushy and oblivious - they'll come to say Hi, and just have a chat with you. When that pause comes after 7 minutes in any conversation, they politely ask if you want a dance. Say yes, and you'll have a great time. Say no, and no hard feelings. According to Faith, one of the daytime dancers and "house mom," the girls here can smell a guy just looking to get his from a mile away. It's not hard - the table dances ($5) are out in the open, and the VIPs ($20) are really good for the price. On the flip side, the girls "police" themselves - they don't let any new girls playing at shenanigans stay around for too long (VIP no-no's and drug included). Problem with the VIP is that it's to the side of the club, and sectioned off by a waist high wall. So some discretion is possible, but not a whole lot. The manager and/or bouncer on shift is always peeking around the corner to make sure everything is legit. But it's not the biggest problem in the world: the lap dances are awesome. They're even better once you get to know the girls. Honestly, some leave a little something to be desired, but there are some diamonds in there, too. My ATF is Lola, 20 years old, Caucasian, milky white skin, tall, with long jet black hair, and an awesome bod. She's a sweetheart and takes care of you. Another worth mentioning is Candy, 24 years old, tight, blonde, tanned, part Caucasian and part Filipino. She a firecracker. The last time I was there, there was this one girl, half black, half Dominican, just in from Miami. I forget her name, but I'll remember her because she's awesome to talk to (with that sexy Latino accent) AND to look at (she has an ass you could break a quarter on). The dee-jay, Crispy, is a good guy to shoot the shit with. All in all, just be a good guy and the place will take care of you.
