"Lap Dances Only!" You'd think...

"Lap Dances Only!" You'd think that this would be a good thing to hear, but at the Player's Club it's shouted by a bouncer at about 1:45 AM. The club closes at 2:00 AM, and this is your last chance to grab a girl (literally) and get a couple lap dances for the road. If you're not getting a LD, they kick you out. I've been there on a couple occasions where either I was getting a Last Dance and my buddy was waiting in the parking lot or vice versa. Then at 2:00, they kick everybody out, and you're left to ponder your pitiful loserdom on your drive home.

I made a solo run to the Player's Club last Friday night (and a buddy run earlier in the week). I was fortunate enough to get my last lappers of the night with Corinne, who has always been a personal favorite. Actually, I monopolized her time the 2nd half of the night, so if you were waiting for her, I'm sorry (not really). I also spent some time with a petite blonde named Tasha, who said she was returning to the club after a couple year hiatus. She was nice to talk to and dance with, so seek her out if you are there.

While I'm glad that the Player's Club doesn't have the annoying strip club DJ (all songs are played from an iPod at the bar), the one drawback of that is it's hard to find out the girl's names, so you just might have to ask another girl.
