My recent trip to Detroit gave me at least one unexpected bright spot this time. Player's. This is a place that I have been coming to on and off since lap dances were $10. And that is a long time ago. I have seen it go up and down over the years, through LE crackdowns and lean times. This time, I have to say, it is the best place in the Detroit area. And that includes Flight Club near the airport. It may not have the total numbers of good-looking women as Flight Club. But there are enough to make it very worth while. The best part is the dance area. They have redesigned the lapping area in the back of the club. It is now individual "booths" with string "curtains" covering the entrance. Not the circular large booth that they had in the past that could accommodate about 8 to 9 couples at a time. You have to pay $5 each time you want to use the VIP area, but then the dances are $20. And the dances are the best I've experienced in this area. Better than Flight Club. Mileage is variable. There were a few disappointments. But overall the quality of the girls and the quality of the dances was outstanding. I used to find that the day shift, in years past, was often better than the night shift, as far as the overall friendliness of the girls was concerned. This time the night shift was better both times I went to the club. This is a real sleeper. It's a great club now. And I couldn't say that in January or even last summer. Things change. This time Player's has changed for the better.
