If you haven't been to Mons Venus in Tampa, then you haven't been to one of the "icons" of the US strip club world. It has a unique vibe all its own. Girls are very friendly and mostly hot as well. Unlike many clubs today that offer private VIP rooms, everything's pretty much out in the open here. Dance areas line the walls all around the club (it's not that big but feels a bit larger because of mirrors everywhere.) But for first-timers arriving on a busy night (most nights are actually pretty busy here but the weekends are always packed), it's a sight to behold when you walk in the door after paying your 20 dollar cover. You just look around and basically see naked women writhing around on guys laps just about everywhere. And then before you know it, a girl comes up to you and usually makes an offer you can't refuse to join in the fun. The last time there, it was actually a bit slower and I spent quite some time just sitting and talking with a really attractive (and actually articulate) blonde before hitting the dance areas. In short, a VERY friendly just plain fun place. I've been going there for many years when in Tampa and it was once considered one of the wildest in the county. Now though, with newer clubs in other cities offering a lot more "extras" in private areas (for a LOT more money), Mons Venus almost feels a bit tame but still in a very good (and very hot) way. As usual, YMMV, and with the right girl, well, who needs a private room. Highly recommended. A "must see" if you haven't been there.
