I have not been to Gold...
I have not been to Gold and Silver in quite a while, but nothing has changed. $20 membership fee ($10 if you have a membership already) as cover. Strictly a juice bar (they have n/a beer and sodas, some snacks), the bar is to your right as you enter. The stage is a catwalk with two poles, but I've never seen more than one dancer; about a dozen seats around the stage, and then a bank of stools at rail just be hind these on one side and there is a pool table on the other side on a raised area near the jukebox. An announcer who sits by the juke keeps a running stream of the usual patter. There are a few tables along the wall. Upstairs there are more table along the wall from which you cannot see the stage and seats along a railing where the view is not much better. The lap dance room is here too, a rationed off room of perhaps 10 couches, but no real privacy.
Dancers did three song sets. Most go topless during the first song, flash the pussy during the second and full nude during the third. At the stage you can get a close up view, but are expected to tip. Some dancers will lean forward for a quick "motorboating". A few couples were in the place and the ladies were given special attention. Rest of the crowd (perhaps 30 to 40) was racially mixed and mostly young to middle-aged. I had on causal slacks and a dress shirt and was the most overdressed person there.
The dancer are mostly white and range from one BBW who was truly not my idea of what I would want in a dancer (but I saw her sell several, so different strokes), to another very mature dancer who had seen better days, but between these extremes there was a number of young, relatively attractive women -- more tattoos that I care for on many of them.
