The short version: this club could be great, but will need quite a bit of improvement to get to that point.

The club: EyeCandy Showgirls opened back in October 2012, with a lot of controversy since the city of Chula Vista doesn't really have any ordinances on adult entertainment on the books and they didn't want to allow the club to be there. Supposedly, the city is preparing to mount a legal battle against the club to try to drive them out. So, things are kind of in a holding pattern, and in light of that, the club owner (also the owner of Flesh and Tropical Lei) is sort of hedging his bets on whether they're going to be able to stay open and not really improving the club building too much. Therefore, the club is pretty bare bones and not really all that fancy. It's housed in a former restaurant, and the building is huge, with a lot more room than they apparently need. The parking lot is also huge, so no trouble finding a spot, and there's a club employee standing out front almost the whole time so it's pretty safe. It's right off the freeway, and dead easy to find. The interior is pretty meh. The entry is just a counter with a cash register in a huge hall with the bathrooms towards the back. the dance area is also pretty big, but in a really oblong rectangular shape. The stage, about the size of a king-size bed, located roughly in the middle of one of the longer sides of the rectangle. Two other sides are lined with banquette seating for topless lap dances (pretty much out in the open), and the rest is filled in with standard rolly strip club armchairs and cocktail tables. The VIP dance area is a bunch of cubicles made of aluminum frames covered with black indoor/outdoor carpeting and a loveseat. So, basically there's just the bare minimum in the building to make it possible to call it a strip club. Lighting is decent; noise level varies depending on where you sit and how close to a speaker you are.
