KH8 is a very nice place...

KH8 is a very nice place to visit and has a unique personality/vibe which can be quite refreshing for those who are used to the commercial strip club chains. The management/staff seem to actually care about providing quality friendly entertainment.

Layout of Club: Enter on east side of building. Upon entry DJ booth/moneyman are immediately to right and "private" lapdance area (featuring 3 bench style seats with 2" wide partitions) are immediately to the left. About 15" from the front door is the stage. It has a Pole and the "guard rails" around the edge. Along the right side wall is the bar. This club probably has a legal occupancy maximum around 70-100 people. In the back of the club is a pool table and the restrooms. Restrooms were clean, and somewhat fancy with black imitation-marble tile. At the time of visit, the club was adorned with St. Patrick’s day themed wall and ceiling decorations. This attempt to be festive, along with the generally clean condition is what warrants the "8" physical club rating.

The Dancers: I maybe a 10 women were working this weekday evening. I talked to one dancer who said on the weekends there could be around twice as many working. Most of the dancers were "seasoned" in that they weren't very young, but they weren't "you are too old to be strippin'" age. I'd say they are in that sweet spot of "my body still looks god and I got enough experience to know what to do with it" age, which is okay with me. One dancer spent time talking to me at the Bar. We had fun conversation about a number of topics, including strip clubs in the Midwest where she previously worked and I had visited. Also, one stage performance captivated me. SHOWTIME was an extremely enthusiastic dancer with a great body. A nine or dime in my book. She gave a nice private dance as well. Given the friendly conversation and the dime on patrol, I gave the dancer rating a “7”.

The Money: Dances are $15, and songs are played from beginning to end. Drinks are market rates ($4ish per beer). Thus the monetary exchange is certainly fair. Not insanely cheap, not super expensive, but very fair. That is why I gave it monetary value rating of "7".

In summary, KH8 is a well managed club with a friendly neighborhood feel. Parking may be difficult to find, especially on the weekend. If you are a fan of hanging out at strip clubs for the atmosphere, have a taste for beautiful black women, and can appreciate a piece of Urban Los Angeles culture, then this is absolutely a place worth visiting. Oh, and a shout out to 93.5 KDAY!!
