Babe's is right beside roughly 10...

Babe's is right beside roughly 10 other strip clubs right in the thick of Bourbon Street. We contemplated a few before choosing Babe's. Asked the door man what the benefit of his club is vs some of the others right beside it. He said the girls look better (subjective) and insinuated it was more upscale and less of the rowdy, piss-drunk crowd. Lower cover ($5) than most with the stipulation to buy a drink (wasn't enforced) but the Bud Light's we ordered were expensive.

Simple set-up, one stage where a dancer did three song sets. Rather small and cozy with champagne rooms upstairs. Contact with the dancer on stage was rather low. When one put her legs around a guy a waitress came by and whispered something in her ear which I'm guessing was a "Don't do that".

The talent was pretty good. One middle eastern looking girl with an amazing body. I didn't see many getting private dances, mainly just all stage tipping. While I'd be back, it would be after trying one of the other 10 clubs to see how they all compare.
