The Paper Moon sits within a strip mall parking lot. The outside of the building is nondescript. Inside the club is rather small. A large bar takes up about half of the room in the club. The club has two stages, one main stage, and one smaller side stage on the opposite side of the room. Neither stage is really anything to write home about, they are merely elevated platforms at opposite ends of the room. There is seating around the room for, i suspect, about 50-70 people on a busy night. In the back is the lap dance area. The lap dance area has large, booth seats with tall dividers so you can't see what is going on in the booth next to you. The seats are generally very comfortable.

I came here on a Thursday night because I heard this is one of the few places in the DC metro area that you can actually get a lap dance. There were about 11-15 girls working that night. They ranged from 5's-9's. The distribution was pretty even on a bell curve. There was generally something for everyone here: White, asian, hispanic, black, big breasts, fake breasts, spinners. The dances here are 10 dollars on the floor, and something like 60 for two in the VIP with the top on, 100 in the VIP for top off. It is extremely expensive, but when you are the only lapdance club in the area, I guess the price signals the limited supply of lap dances and their tremendous demand. The dances on the floor are air dances, while the ones in the back you can touch anywhere but the kitty.

After i sat down I was accosted by one of the 5's for a dance. I said no and she moved on. A few more of the girls came by to chat and offer a dance. I didn't have my eye on any of them so I generally passed, although they were all good looking and friendly. I saw a gorgeous spinner on stage and one of the waitresses noticed I was ogling her. She arranged for the dancer to come by after my dance. I bought the 2 for 100 in the VIP area. The dances were nice and fully contact, but generally much more expensive than what I would pay for anywhere else. For example, at BSC in Phoenix, you can get a similar dance for $20 in the VIP. The same dance at Paper Moon costs $50.
