Visited Circus on a Thursday afternoon, thinking things might be picking up toward the weekend. The block was very slow all around. I quickly made it all the way down the line and decided to pop into Circus. This is a club I used to avoid as a rule due to the quality of the dancers every time I had walked in to check it out. But I have decided you never know when you will find a diamond in the rough, so why not give it a look. After all, it's slim pickings on the block lately.

Well, gentlemen, on this recent Thursday afternoon, for those who don't care to read further, let me just say the pattern of poor quality at this joint continued (for the most part). I will continue to give it a look on my block visits, but I am prepared to walk out immediately, despite the insults that invariably will be thrown my way by the doorman. I'm referring to the night guy only - Bernie. The guy who works days is pretty chill.

Sue, an older lady, was tending bar. She is friendly enough. Sue pushes drinks in the same manner you would expect at any club. I bought a mixed drink for myself only, which ran the standard eight or nine bucks (rail drinks are cheaper).
